sorry, correction, *reliance* on formalized structures of combat made me weak and pathetic, oh hell though when I got back to my natural tendencies though, the muscle memory, fitness, and familiarity with the general body movements was sooooooo helpful, I was way better off than when I was just relying on what I learned straight from fights and sparring
this isn't to say krav maga and MMA aren't good, but this is what I did and it worked
since wing chun is considered "soft" in some ways, and kind of flowing or something, whereas TKD is hard, simple, rigid and is defined by "square"
