a strict kip is a fantastic way for someone to progress into strict pullups as they require less brute strength

if the goal is back and bicep development, a chest to bar pullup will do just as much for you as a muscle up, but you'll be able to rep out a lot more chest-to-bars.

a muscle-up is just an explosive pullup into a deep dip, so the second half is useless for back and bicep development
