Have you been doing some heavy deadlifts or squats lately? Are you sleeping in an uncomfortable position? Is your posture bad? Do you use your back and not your legs when you bend over to pick up stuff?
Lots of possible reasons. Make sure you sit up straight and not slouched to the side either. I find that after sitting at the computer for a long time in a leaning position can make my back sore.
