I'm not the guy who replied but I'll post anyway.
Go back on the magnesium immediately and take in-between the antibiotic doses. Use citrate/glycinate/malate forms. It should only block absorption if taken at same time of antibiotic. Magnesium may prevent problems with the antibiotic!

Vitamin E and ubiquinol (or COQ10 if none) are a good idea
Wait until you're done the antibiotic before adding calcium, and don't do too much calcium.
If you have problems then NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) in between doses may be one of the best (it's also used vs tylenol overdoses). ALA (alpha lipoic acid) too.
