Talk to me about muscle ups vs pullups.

also, when doing pullups, is it bad to swing your legs a bit to give you momentum?

swinging your legs is cheating, since you're using momentum to do the pullup rather than using your muscles. I think it's okay though, if you are incapable of doing a single proper pullup, to cheat a bit in order to work towards doing a proper pullup.

only tried muscle ups once before, but it looks like it'd be great for strength. Doing them on those gymnastic hanging rings looks like those would improve balance as well. I can do weighted pullups no problem, but I tried a muscle up once on hanging rings and could hardly do one proper rep.

I wouldn't recommend swinging your legs for momentum. It makes the whole movement more chaotic and so more difficult to keep safe. If you can't yet perform a pull up with proper form, continue to do other exercises that work the same muscles but have a lower threshold for entry, is my recommendation. Rushing into an exercise isn't gonna seem like such a good idea if your shoulder snaps.

Why don't you try Intermittent Fasting instead? you won't get dizzy, nor need to eat all the time.
Eat good food (meat, eggs, vegetables, fruits, cheese, and that's it), try to cook it yourself at home to be in control of what you eat, and when you're not home you just don't feed yourself. And that's it, pretty simple.
I spend only 3 hours daily in my house, and that's when I eat and work out (in the opposite order of course). Maybe you could do the same. I never feel dizzy, or tired (pretty much the opposite), do fine in college and such.
This whole hypo-caloric madness has destroyed bodies and minds all around the world dude, give something else a try.

Would anyone happen to have Clair Davies' "The Frozen Shoulder Workbook"?

Would be a great resource toward regaining shoulder mobility for anyone dealing with any sort of shoulder/rotator cuff issues.

Thanks so much!

Thanks, but those page is old, or BS. Or both... I've googled around looking for it for days and have seen pages like that but links are always dead or require passwords.
